The Life of Bryan
I
have never classed myself as a "New Age Hippy", in fact I never
classed myself
as anything. I had spent the first 38 years just meandering through life,
following the masses and not my heart.
But the years were not totally wasted, it has all been for a reason.
Finding the true me, the spiritual me has been like a rebirth. But my life before the new me has taught me many things. Thing's that I can pass on to others who are also searching.
The cycle of events in my life that lead upto my "rebirth" were not that different to most other peoples lives. In 1979 I left the military and went back to my home city of Bradford. I found
it very difficult to settle back into the civvy way of life. The relationship
I left the military for ended and to top it all, I was made redundant
from my employment But no sobbing, remember everything happens for a reason!
After about 1 month of being un-employed, I decided to go to Jersey and if no work
was available, I would go back to Germany were I was stationed for 3 years.
I was sure to get something there.
After I had been in Jersey for a couple of weeks I met Patricia. That was
almost 28 years ago and of those 28 years, we have been married for 24 of
them. In the late 1980's Patricia had started her search for the meaning of life!
For myself however, Golf, Cricket, Football and most other sports was of more
interest.
In 1992 after attending my fathers 80th birthday celebrations in my native
Yorkshire, I came down with illness after illness. Finally the doctor confirmed
that I had ME (Yuppy Flu), a yuppy I certainly was not. The doctors and specialists
did what they could but nothing that they gave me had any lasting effect.
I turned to alternatives and my catchphrase was "I'll try anything once"
and finally after 5 years found something that worked and lasted, Energy Healing!
We visited Mother Meera in 1998 and we both decided to that we had to be part
of the REIKI Revolution.
Since then I have also become a Master/Teacher in seven Reiki systems (including the original techniques of Dr Usui) as well the Sekhem System, completed
Shamanic Training, have a Diploma in NPL (Neuro Linguistic Programming) completed my Hynotherapy training. I also teach Bushcraft and how to live safely outside and in harmony with nature.

Patricia's Journey
Patricia knew from an
early age that she wanted to help people feel better about themselves and
improve their health.
However, she also knew that before this could happen she had to have a journey
of self-discovery. In wanting to help people grow as human beings and grow
to their full potential she needed to find the answers to many unanswered
questions about herself, her life and the eternal cry of “There has
to be more to life than this”.
She has spent many years studying complementary health and the power of the
mind she is a member of the Complimentary Medical Association, holds diplomas
in Anatony & Physiology, and Oriental Remedial Therapies and is currently
studying Professional Therapeutic Counselling.
Her searches for information and experience led her to agree with the ancient
healing practices and the belief that to have total wellness the emotional,
physical and spiritual aspects of the body need to be in balance. One of the
common denominators in ancient healing is that the Ki (Life Force Energy)
must flow freely around all parts of the body if total wellness is to be achieved,
as happens in both Reiki & Sekhem
She brings to her healing and teaching sessions a wealth of experience and
understanding and an ability to help the client progress to a better life.
StarChild is situated in a lovely gentle valley to the north of the village of Penrhiwllan. The Teifi valley towns of Llandysul (4.5 miles) and Newcastle Emlyn (5.25 miles) are in close proximity. This is a peaceful scenic region, rich in history and wildlife such as Red kites, Buzzards and various Owls.

The Centre stands as part of a 19 acre smallholding with a small herd of Alpacas, Goats and Chickens. Pigs and Sheep are planned for later along with Bee hives.
Peace and harmony can be restored in the tranquillity of this rural valley
as you wander along the river bank, through the fields or through the forest or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings punctuated only by the
songs of the many varieties of birds.
