The art of Bushcraft has become very popular in the last couple of years thanks to Ray Mears and a small band of enthusiasts. Bushcraft teaches skills that enable us to survive in the wilderness. Our Bushcraft Survival event allows you to get as far from the office environment as possible and to pit yourself against the challenges that the natural world will throw at you. Skills that you will be taught include Emergency Shelter Building, Survival Fire Lighting plus Wild Food collection and Cooking
The course works by setting a number of goals and skills to be mastered by each team. The instructors will give clear demonstrations on fire lighting, shelter construction and cooking the food collected. After each demonstration it is up to each group to practise and perfect the technique.
